In every relationship there is a purpose, however, we may not know the exact purpose until the relationship is over. As I reflect upon my past relationships, the ones that lasted were relationships that I met through synchronicity, and they were relationships without great obstacles. They were no great distances to overcome, they were not married or dating another, and they were ready for a relationship. That being said, after several years, I outgrew those relationships as my partners were unable to grow with me.
However, in each relationship, my partners served an important purpose for my emotional growth. It is through each of these relationships that provided growth spurts in my emotional healing and recovery. As I left each relationship, I felt myself propel forward on my journey. It was quite amazing to observe myself through these growth spurts. As with all growth spurts, there are growing pains.
These pains felt like sadness, grief and loss, but these emotions are a natural part of growing emotionally. As with physical growth spurts, it is painful for our bodies to span and grow into the adults we are today. Emotional growth is the same as we will feel sadness, grief, loss, but do not mistaken these emotions for depression or something negative in our lives. After the initial period of sadness, grief, and loss, we will feel lighter, happier, and more joyful.
When we experience depression or a negative experience, we do not feel the subsequent happiness, joy, or lightness. What we are experiencing during emotional growth is releasing the past emotional pain we have held onto for so long. With this release, we experience a different existence without this emotional pain that we no longer need to suppress or repress or even deny its existence.
The lightness is the unburdening the emotional weight of this emotional pain. I share my methods and techniques for releasing this emotional pain in the tabs on my Blogsite Homepage. Blessings on your emotional recovery and spiritual journey. (Copyright 2016 Awakening Journey with All Rights Reserved)

Student loans are destroying the imagination of youth. If there’s a way of a society committing mass suicide, what better way than to take all the youngest, most energetic, creative, joyous people in your society and saddle them with, like $50,000 of debt so they have to be slaves? There goes your music. There goes your culture. There goes everything new that would pop out. And in a way, this is what’s happened to our society. We’re a society that has lost any ability to incorporate the interesting, creative and eccentric people.

“An idle man will never become a magician. Magic is an exercise of all hours and all moments. The operator of great works must be absolute master of himself; he must know how to repress the allurements of pleasure, appetite and sleep; he must be insensible to success and to indignity. His life must be that of a will directed by one thought and served by entire Nature, which he will have made subject to mind in his own organs, and by sympathy in all the universal forces which are their correspondents.”
“An occultist is an expert in the science of life. As an operative magician, he is able to manipulate the forces of nature to the gratification of whatever end he may desire but woe to him if those ends are not in harmony with the natural plan! By means of his knowledge, he may work miracles, like the magicians of India, but: his feats are miraculous only to those who do not know as much as he does concerning the subtle forces of nature."
